NBA Odds – Philadelphia 76ers at Chicago Bulls

The Philadelphia 76ers, (31-34 SU, 35-27-3 ATS, 29-35-1 O/U), are one of the hottest teams in the league, having won 13 of their last 17 games overall and five of their last six.

The Sixers are also gaining confidence with each victory over a quality opponent like their 83-82 road victory over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday n the BetUS.com Sportsbook.

While the Sixers are winning by coming together under head coach Maurice Cheeks, the Chicago Bulls, (26-38 SU, 29-35 ATS, 33-29-2 O/U), have had all sorts of trouble both on and off the court this season.

Backup point guard Chris Duhon missed Sunday’s shootaround at Detroit before making upsetting management with some off-the-wall comments. Duhon’s incident comes just over one week after young power forward Tyrus Thomas blew off practice on March 5 and rookie Aaron Gray reportedly gave head coach Jim Boylan some back talk during a game in Memphis last week.

"When people question our team, I respond that we have guys in the locker room with a lot of character who care about their craft and work at it," Boylan said. "The guys were hurt the last couple days. There were a lot of things swirling around our team, and no one likes to see that stuff in the paper. This is a basketball team, not a soap opera."

Despite their recent troubles, the Bulls still stand an outside chance of making the playoffs in the mediocre eastern conference and come into tonight’s matchup off a solid 108-96 win over the Utah Jazz on Tuesday.

Philadelphia has covered the spread in five of their last six games while the Bulls have gone 4-1 against the spread in their last four games.
