NBA Wagering Matchup - Seattle Supersonics at New Orleans Hornets

The New Orleans Hornets, (25-12 SU, 22-14-1 ATS, 14-23 O/U) are off to the best start in franchise history thanks to the immense contributions of all-star point guard Chris Paul, (21.4 ppg, 10.1 apg)
The Seattle Supersonics, (9-28 SU, 17-20 ATS, 14-23 O/U), are a young bunch that is being centered around young players the team hopes will one day become stars in rookie shooting guard Kevin Durant and fellow first-year man, forward Jeff Green.
New Orleans has won seven consecutive contests on the road after beating the Houston Rockets 87-82 on Sunday and starts a five-game home stretch with this contest.
The Sonics are struggling mightily at the moment, having lost seven straight games coming into this contest and six consecutive road games overall.
The Sonics did however, put up a heck of a fight in their last game, losing to the Los Angeles Lakers 123-121 in overtime.
New Orleans has four players averaging double figures in scoring, led by Paul, while Durant leads the Sonics in scoring, averaging 19.8 points per game in 36 contests.

Although I like the Hornets to win this contest, I’m going to take Seattle to cover the spread, particularly because of their stellar effort in their last contest, which tells me they’re tired of losing.
