NBA Betting Odds – Sixers Looking To Stay Alive Against Pistons

While the Detroit Pistons, (62-25 SU, 48-38-1 ATS, 38-48-1 O/U) enter tonight’s online betting Game 6 in their first round series against the Philadelphia 76ers, (42-45 SU, 45-39-3 ATS, 41-45-1 O/U) looking to shut the door on what has turned out to be a very pleasant season for the youngsters from Philadelphia, the Sixers say they have absolutely no plans on handing the visiting Pistons an easy victory.
"I've believed in my players the whole season long and I'm not going to not believe in them now," Sixers head coach Maurice Cheeks said. "We've done it before and we've been able to come back."
The Sixers however, will face a tall task if the same Pistons team that has showed up and emphatically beaten them for the past two games, makes another appearance in Game 6.
"You want to take care of things as quickly as possibly, because it can change quickly," Pistons coach Flip Saunders said. "We've put together three solid halves, and we need to keep that up."
Still, the Sixers undaunted and say they can win this game no matter what anyone else believes.
"The series is over? C'mon, you've got to be kidding me," center Samuel Dalembert said.

Analysis: While the Sixers have surprised the Pistons by winning two games in this series, I say the more experience veteran Pistons end this series tonight by winning a thriller that the Sixers won’t easily give away. In the end however, I like the superior Pistons to cover the spread with just a bit of room to spare as they have had no answer for Rasheed Wallace the entire series. I also like the ‘Over’ in a big way tonight as Philadelphia will seriously try to get out and use their running games against the older Pistons.
