Bet on NBA - Utah Jazz (+ 2.5) vs. Denver Nuggets (- 2.5)

Neither team gives me confidence with their overall against the spread record. The Nuggets remain one of the better teams at home straight-up and one of the worst teams on the road straight-up. Hey, look at that! The Jazz are almost a mirror copy of the Nuggets with their straight-up home and road records.
Here are some basketball betting trends:
The Utah Jazz are 5 and 1 against the spread in their last 6 games versus a team with a straight-up winning record.
The Denver Nuggets are 4 and 1 against the spread in their last 5 games as a favorite.
The Denver Nuggets are 4 and 1 against the spread in their last 5 home games.
The Utah Jazz are 6 and 1 against the spread in the last 7 meetings between these two teams.
The Jazz appear to have the better match-ups when it comes to these two teams. Maybe Carlos Boozer can take it to Marcus Camby better than other front-court players in this league.
In any case the – 2.5 is actually a sign that NBA bettors favor the Jazz in tonight’s game. The Nuggets should be an at least 3 to 4 point favorite in this game based on overall trends and the fact that the Nuggets are a terrific home team.
In an evenly matched game I always like to take the UNDERDOG and the points. I really don’t see a reason not to do that tonight as this figures to be a very close game all the way until the end.
