Bet on NBA - Cleveland Cavaliers (+ 8.5) vs. Orlando Magic (- 8.5)

The Cavaliers looked terrible yesterday at home versus the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets aren’t a very good road team, but they beat the LeBron led Cavs by 30 points. Can the Cavs bounce back in a road game versus one of the better teams in the NBA? Well, the BetUS NBA Betting oddsmakers sure don’t think so. Check out those 8.5 points. The UNDERDOG is 5 and 0 against the spread in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.

This comes to a classic issue of whether or not the Cavaliers’ loss yesterday to the Denver Nuggets is a sign of terrible things on the horizon or not. I believe that the 30 point loss to the Nuggets yesterday was an anomaly and that the Cavs are still a very good Eastern Conference team.

In situations like this I always look at the make-up of the team for signs that pride will carry them forward in a game. I see signs of pride all over the Cavs. I seriously doubt that LeBron will let his team get spanked like losers two straight games in a row.

As good as the Magic are, they don’t have a player like LeBron on their team. Dwight Howard can control things, but he doesn’t play the position that LeBron plays. That means that Dwight can’t really control the speed of the game.
