NBA Wagering – Cavaliers at Mavericks
By Eric Williams
The struggling Cleveland Cavaliers, (13-16 SU, 12-17 ATS, 16-13 O/U) are looking for consecutive wins for the first time in a month while the bewildering Dallas Mavericks, (19-10 SU, 12-16-1 ATS, 16-13 O/U) are looking to get back to their winning ways after losing to the Utah Jazz last night.
The Cavaliers, who are just 4-6 in their last 10 games, were routed in their home opener this season, losing to the Mavs, 92-74 on Oct. 31.
The biggest problem for Cleveland has been their defense, which is 100.3 points per game this season after giving up just 92.9 per game last season. Cleveland has given up 100 points or more 17 times this season after allowing their opponents to top the century mark just 18 times all of last season.
The Mavericks were looking for their sixth consecutive win against the Jazz but were turned back 99-90 after falling into 16-0 deficit to start the game. The Jaz pulled away after Dallas got back in the game by scoring 31 points in the third quarter.
Dirk Nowitzki had 20 points against the Jazz but again, clearly is not the emotional leader the Mavericks so desperately need.
Here is a look at tonight’s Key Trends, followed by my NBA Betting Free Picks:

Analysis: After calling last night’s Mavericks game incorrectly, I am coming back with Dallas tonight. Unless LeBron James goes completely unconscious, (which is always a possibility) the Mavericks should win this game by the seven points it takes to cover the spread.
