NBA Basketball Odds – Atlanta Hawks at Charlotte Bobcats

After adding veteran point guard Mike Bibby in a trade with the Sacramento Kings, the Atlanta Hawks, (25-35 SU, 28-31-1 ATS, 28-32 O/U), were hoping to make a strong playoff push.
However, things haven’t worked out as planned as the Hawks have taken a turn for the worse, losing seven of ten games and three straight coming into this contest, including a 116-101 blowout loss at the hands of the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday.
The Charlotte Bobcats, (22-39 SU, 26-34 ATS, 34-26-1 O/U), have lacked consistency all season in what was supposed to be a positive, rebuilding season. While things haven’t exactly worked out the way the Bobcats had hoped either, Charlotte has won three consecutive games coming into tonight’s contest, including a surprising 118-109 win over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.
The Hawks have been equally mediocre against the spread, winning just three of their last ten games against the spread while Charlotte has been solid against the spread lately, going 6-4 against the spread in its last ten, including four consecutive ATS wins coming into this contest.

Analysis: This pick is a ‘no-brainer’ as the Bobcats are playing excellent basketball and the Hawks are struggling in the worst way at the most inopportune time. Take J-Rich and the Bobcats to cover the spread while picking up their fourth consecutive win tonight.
