NBA Basketball Free Picks – Struggling Hawks Host Streaking Warriors

After playing 13 of its last 16 games at home, including nine of its 10 February games, the Golden State Warriors, (36-22 SU, 24-34 ATS, 33-23-2 O/U), hit the road tonight to kick off a four-game, five-day road trip starting with the Atlanta Hawks, (25-33 SU, 28-29-1 ATS, 26-32 O/U).
The Warriors, who will also play 13 of their next 19 games on the road, come into tonight’s matchup riding a three-game winning streak and have won seven of their last ten games overall, including a solid 110-104 victory over the Portland Trailblazers on Sunday.
The Hawks, who are currently in ninth place in the Eastern Conference, one game behind the eighth-place New Jersey Nets, were hoping for better results after acquiring veteran point guard Mike Bibby on Feb. 16.
Atlanta has dropped seven of its last ten games, including a convincing 98-88 loss to the Boston Celtics on Sunday.
Bibby is averaging just 13.5 points and 7.3 assists per game in eight contests with the Hawks.
Atlanta has managed to go 5-5 against the spread in their last ten games while Golden State is a dismal 2-8 against the spread over the same span.

The Over is 4-0 in Warriors last four road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
The Over is 8-1 in Hawks last nine games following a S.U. loss.
The Over is 6-0 in the last six meetings.
The Over is 6-1 in the last seven meetings in Atlanta.
Analysis: The Hawks are playing poor basketball – and if nothing else – the Warriors can score the ball like crazy. I say take the Warriors to cover the spread with an outright win.
