NBA Basketball Free Picks Phoenix Suns at Seattle Supersonics

The Phoenix Suns, (44-22 SU, 31-33-2 ATS, 38-28 O/U), have won five straight games in the BetUS.com Sportsbook with Shaquille O’Neal on their roster and say they are starting to come together, despite the fact that the Suns have beaten most mediocre teams during their winning streak.
"We're coming together, playing unselfishly and I'm getting more comfortable," O'Neal said after Phoenix beat the Portland Trailblazers 111-98 on Tuesday night. "I'm feeling better and getting more used to the guys."
The young Seattle Supersonics, (16-51 SU, 32-34-1 ATS, 30-37 O/U), have dropped nine straight games and were thoroughly routed by the Denver Nuggets in their last outing, losing 168-116 to the merciless Denver Nuggets.
Seattle has given up at least 100 points in 13 straight games.
"Once it's over, it's over," Sonics head coach P.J. Carlesimo told the Sonics' official Web site. "You don't forget about it, but you don't dwell on it either. We can carry it forward or we can put it behind us. I think we'll put it behind us."
Rookie swingman Kevin Durant has remained unshaken despite his team’s mounting losses.
"That was very tough to handle, but we put that behind us," he said. "We came in today and had one of our best practices of the year. We practiced very hard, competed all practice. That's something we needed to do to build up for tomorrow against the same type of team. I think we'll be alright."
The Sonics are just 4-6 against the spread in their last ten games and have dropped three straight while the Suns have covered the spread in six of their last ten and five straight coming into this contest.

Analysis: While it pains me to watch the Seattle Supersonics struggle so badly, they are undoubtedly going to lose to the Suns tonight - and they going down hard. Take the Suns to cover the spread going away.
