NBA Basketball Free Picks – Golden State Warrior at Charlotte Bobcats

The Golden State Warriors, (37-22 SU, 25-34 ATS, 34-23-2 O/U), have used their all-out offensive attack to win eight of their last ten games and four consecutive games coming into this affair, including an emphatic 135-118 victory over the struggling Atlanta Hawks last night.

The Charlotte Bobcats, (21-39 SU, 25-34-1 ATS, 33-26-1 O/U), have won just three of their last ten games but have won consecutive games coming into this contest, including a 109-89 win over the hapless Minnesota Timberwolves last night.

Golden State leads the NBA in scoring, averaging a whopping 110.6 points per game and have reached the century mark in 23 consecutive games.

"We make people play to our level," said Golden State point guard Baron Davis, who scored 35 points against the Hawks. "We figured that this is not comfortable scoring at a pace like this. That's our motto: Stay close on the road.”

Former Warriors star Jason Richardson scored 25 points against the T-Wolves last night, but will need much more help from his teammates if they expect to outscore the Warriors.

"We haven't had that kind of chemistry during the course of the year," Charlotte coach Sam Vincent said. "So, it's nice to see the guys really picking each other up, talking to each other, helping each other."

Despite their recent on-court success, the Warriors have covered the spread in just three of their last ten contests while the Bobcats have gone 5-5 against the spread in their last ten and comes into tonight’s matchup riding a three-game ATS win streak.

Here is a look at tonight’s key trends, followed by my analysis and NBA Betting Free Picks:

The Warriors are 5-0 ATS in their last five games when their starting five players combine for more than 160 minutes of the previous day.

The Warriors are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games playing on zero days rest.

The Bobcats are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

The Bobcats are 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.

The Over is 5-0 in Warriors last five games playing on zero days rest.

The Over is 5-1 in Bobcats last six games as an underdog.

The Favorite is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings.

The Home team is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings.

Analysis: While the Bobcat have played good basketball the past two games, it will take a superhuman effort for them to stay with the high-scoring Warriors tonight. Take Golden State to run-and-gun the overmatched Bobcats while cruising to victory tonight.
