NBA Free Betting Picks - Rockets Back On Track Against Kings

After having their historic 22-game winning streak emphatically snapped by the visiting Boston Celtics last Tuesday, the Houston Rockets, (47-23 SU, 41-28-1 ATS, 30-39-1 O/U), have struggled, dropping two of their next three games in the BetUS.com Sportsbook including a 122-113 loss to the streaking Phoenix Suns on Saturday in which the team played almost no defense whatsoever.
"It's been four tough games," said Rockets coach Rick Adelman. "That's what we talked about at halftime, that's not who we are in the first half."
Despite their recent troubles, the Rockets should have an excellent opportunity to get better against the mediocre Sacramento Kings, (31-38 SU, 35-33-1 ATS, 36-29-4 O/U), who also enter tonight’s matchup riding a two-game losing streak that includes a 117-111 road loss to the lowly Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.
"We're going to try and win every one of them," Kings head coach Reggie Theus said of his team’s remaining regular season games. "We want to keep developing our young guys, but we want to win. These last few games have been tough on us, but we've had a nice little run going. It's important for us to end the season on a positive note, whether we make the playoffs or not."
Sacramento has won just four of its last ten games while going and identical 4-6 against the spread over the same span.
The Rockets are 7-3 in their last ten games and have covered the spread in six of those contests covering the same span.

Analysis: The Rockets need this win in the worst way and will certainly get it against the mediocre Kings, but I say Sacramento covers the high spread despite their on-court lack of success.
