NBA Basketball Betting Odds - San Antonio Spurs vs. Phoenix Suns

This will be the fourth game of the series which means that the Spurs could be fighting for the series victory in this game. Because of that it’s important to think about all possible BetUS NBA online wagers and not just think about what might happen should either the Spurs or Suns win on Friday night.
First, I will approach this game as if the Suns were to win Friday night. Below are my NBA betting lines based on the Suns winning the third game in this series and covering in the third game in this series.
San Antonio Spurs + 7.5 - 110 + 225 O 196 ½
Phoenix Suns - 7.5 - 110 - 255 U 196 ½
There is no doubt in my mind that if the Suns win on Friday night they will be a big favorite come Sunday afternoon in this game. The reason is that NBA betting requires us to think of any playoff series in terms of the hotness, or coldness, of the individual teams involved. The BetUS wagering odds no doubt will shift to the Suns’ favor should things start to go sour for the Spurs.
If the odds were like this, then I’d have to take the Suns to cover that 7.5 spread. Of course, my hope is that the Suns would be giving up less then that, but I can see where the spread could go all the way up to 8 or 8.5 in this game. That’s because the Suns could blow-out the Spurs on Friday night. Even at sportsbook online odds of 8 or 8.5, I like the Suns in this game.
Now, if the Spurs were to win Friday’s game, I see the betting odds coming out like this on Sunday.
San Antonio Spurs + 4.5 - 110 + 195 O 193 ½
Phoenix Suns - 4.5 - 110 - 215 U 193 ½
The Suns will still be favored, but they will be only favored by around 3.5 to 4.5 points. That would actually be the optimal sportsbook wager to me - - the Suns giving up only 4.5 or less then 4.5 points to the Spurs.
Why? Because I just don’t see the Spurs beating the Suns four games in a row. The sweep shouldn’t be possible in this series. Therefore, if the Spurs somehow do win Friday night’s game, I see the Suns absolutely covering the spread in Sunday’s game.
