NBA Basketball Betting Odds - L.A. Clippers at Seattle SuperSonics

WHO: Los Angeles Clippers (22-52 SU, 32-40 ATS) at Seattle SuperSonics (17-57 SU, 35-36-3 ATS)

WHERE: Key Arena in Seattle

WHEN: Wednesday, April 2 at 10 PM ET

BetUS NBA betting odds: Seattle -4, Total 202.5

In the HEAD-to-HEAD NBA basketball betting trends:

* LA has covered four of its last five games

* Five of the last six meetings have gone UNDER the total

* LA has covered six of the last seven meetings as the road team

* SEA has won 20 of the last 25 meetings SU as the home team

* Four of the last five meetings in Seattle have gone UNDER the total

* SEA has had the shooting edge in five of the last seven meetings

* SEA has had the rebounding edge in four of the last six meetings

Los Angeles has made 78.7% of its free throws. The Clippers have averaged 21.1 assists per game, against 13.8 turnovers per contest. Also:

* LA has lost 11 of its last 12 games SU

* LA has covered four of its last six road games

* LA has lost its last eight road games SU

* LA has played six of its last seven road games OVER the total

Seattle is 29th in the NBA in three-pointers made (just four per game). The Sonics, however, are third in the league in rebounding, as they have pulled down 44.3 per outing. Also:

* SEA is 3-5-2 ATS in its last 10 games

* SEA has lost 14 of its last 15 games SU

* SEA is 2-5-2 ATS in its last nine home games

* SEA has lost eight of its last nine home games SU

Seattle has had some personnel losses, whether it be by trade (Wally Szczerbiak, Kurt Thomas) or by injury (Chris Wilcox). But right now Kevin Durant is probably playing his best basketball of the season, just completing a month where he shot 53% from the field, and Jeff Green, now being given the opportunity to play more, can come up with the occasional gem, as he did on Sunday with 21 points on 9-of-16 shooting against Sacramento. And look at Earl Watson, who's shot 53% with a 4-to-1 assist-turnover ratio in his last three.

We obviously don't get overly excited, since Seattle has lost 14 of 15 games, but the Clippers, who have lost 11 of 12, may be in much worse shape right now. Chris Kaman, one of the league's better rebounders, sprained his ankle against Dallas on Monday, and he's out for the year. The team is just 2-16 without the big center in the lineup. Elton Brand is not scheduled to come back until Thursday night, so the Clippers are in limbo at the moment.

If there is a team in this matchup that may be going in a more positive direction, it is the soon-to-be Oklahoma City SuperSonics, who have at least stepped things up nicely on the shooting end, hitting 46% or better for the last five games. Durant, who was wallowing around in the neighborhood of 40% for most of the year, is now around 43%. And Seattle can at least hit the boards a little (over 44 per game).

We'll lay the points with Seattle, the four-point favorite in the BetUS NBA basketball betting odds.
