NBA Basketball Betting Action –Seattle Supersonics at Milwaukee Bucks

Despite the fact that the Seattle Supersonics, (16-44 SU, 30-29-1 ATS, 25-35 O/U), are young and struggling, they apparently are still hungry to pick up wins, as evidenced by their close, 100-97 loss to the Detroit Pistons last night.
"This was a game that could have been won," Sonics head coach P.J. Carlesimo said. "Even late, we had opportunities. Not taking anything away from them, this is an excellent team, but we could have done some things better. We could have controlled our own destiny better than we did."
The Milwaukee Bucks, (22-38 SU, 27-32 ATS, 32-27 O/U), aren’t quite as young as the Sonics, but it’s been clear all season long that this team has underachieved far more than they should have.
Milwaukee has lost three straight games coming into tonight’s contest and has dropped seven of their last ten overall.
Seattle has also won just three of its last ten games but did manage to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 111-108 in overtime on Sunday.
While they have been pretty dismal on the court, the Sonics have been fairly solid against the spread recently, covering in six of ten and two straight coming in while Milwaukee has gone just 5-5 against the spread in their last ten.

The SuperSonics are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games as a road underdog.
The Bucks are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games.
The Bucks are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 Wednesday games.
The Over is 4-0 in SuperSonics last 4 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400.
The Over is 5-0 in Bucks last 5 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game.
The Home team is 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings.
The SuperSonics are 13-2 ATS in the last 15 meetings.
Analysis: Maybe it’s me, but I just don’t see the Bucks as being nine-points better than the Sonics at this point – even at home. Take the hungrier Sonics to cover the spread while possibly winning outright.
