NBA Basketball Betting Action - Hot Sixers Host Steady Magic

Even though they aren’t getting much national attention for their exploits, the Philadelphia 76ers, (25-32 SU, 29-25-3 ATS, 27-30 O/U) are one of the hottest teams in the league, winning seven of their last ten games to move into the eighth and final spot in the race for a postseason berth in the eastern conference.
The well-rested Sixers come into tonight’s matchup against the Orlando Magic, (36-22 SU, 36-21-1 ATS, 29-27-2 O/U), off a solid 101-96 overtime victory over the new-look Miami Heat last Saturday.
The Magic have won three consecutive games and six of ten coming into this affair and have scored at least 100 points in nine straight games.
Orlando picked up a solid victory in their last contest, beating the New Jersey Nets, 102-92 last and has been excellent against the spread, picking up ATS wins in each of their last three games and five out of six.
The Sixers have also been a solid wager this month, going 7-2-1 against the spread in its last ten while picking up five straight ATS wins from Feb. 5-13.
Here is a look at tonight’s key trends, followed by my analysis and NBA Gambling Free Picks:
The Magic are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.
The Magic are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games playing on zero days rest.
The 76ers are 8-0 ATS in their last eight home games.
The 76ers are 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine vs. Eastern Conference.
The Under is 4-1-1 in Magic last six Wednesday games.
The Over is 6-1 in 76ers last seven vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.
The Over is 5-1 in the last six meetings.
The Over is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Philadelphia.
Analysis: The Magic have pretty much owned the Sixers, beating them twice this month alone. I like Orlando to pick up another win over their eastern conference counterparts tonight, particularly since Philadelphia has absolutely no low post presence on their roster whatsoever, unless you’re counting the mediocre Samuel Dalembert. Take the Magic to cover while winning outright.
