There seems to be no answer for Dwight Howard on the part of the Bulls. Howard had 30 points and 14 boards as Orlando won a 115-83 laugher at the United Center on April 9. That was the third straight win for Orlando in this series, and the second straight time they have won on Chicago's home floor.
It makes sense that the Magic, which plays up-tempo and shoots at long-range, yet gets contributions from a dominant rebounder, would be a matchup nightmare for this year's version of the Bulls, who are the worst shooters, collectively, in the NBA (43.2%). And as much as one may claim that Orlando's major concern is keeping itself healthy for the post-season, it could also be said that Chicago's mind is somewhere else as uncertainty, both in the lineup and the coaching situation, looms over this franchise. And the Magic still has more depth than the Bulls.
Remember as well that the Magic has consistently been one of the NBA's better road teams, covering 25 of 39 games (64%), while on the other side of that, Chicago is a 39.5% proposition (15-23 ATS) at home.
We look for the Magic to possibly run and hide in this game, even if they want to ration Howard's playing time. So we lay the points in the BetUS NBA basketball betting odds.
