MLB Weekend Betting

MLB is in full swing and this weekend's schedule includes many must-see games. Saturday, the hot Chicago Cubs invade the City of Brotherly love to play the Philadelphia Phillies.
Heading into Tuesday's game, the Cubs have won eight of nine overall, putting them over .500 for the first time since early in the season. This thanks to a solid offense led by Derek Lee, who batted .450 (27-for-60) with 10 RBIs during the streak and .414 on the season.
Also on Saturday, the hard-hitting Oakland A's will host the surging Cleveland Indians who sit atop the AL Central with the Detroit Tigers.
Sunday, the Seattle Mariners host the New York Yankees, who are anxiously awaiting the return of Roger Clemens. Earlier in the week, the two split a four-game series played in the Bronx, which didn't help Yankee investors who have watched their club lose more money than any other team in baseball.
Detroit will battle the Minnesota Twins in the Metrodome on ESPN's Sunday Game of the Week to round out weekend action. It's an important AL Central battle, making for great betting excitement.
