MLB Baseball Wagering Free Picks – Oakland A’s at Los Angeles Angels

After laying an emphatic 14-2 spanking on the Los Angeles Angels, (16-11, 12-11-4 O/U) on Monday, the Oakland Athletics, (17-10, 11-14-2 O/U) enter tonight’s second online baseball betting game of their three-game series looking for more of the same as they send rookie left-handed starter Greg Smith (2-0, 2.88 ERA), to the mound hoping to give the surprising A’s their fourth three-game winning streak of the young regular season in the BetUS Sportsbook.
The promising 24-year-old Smith, whom the A’s acquired from the Arizona Diamondbacks in the trade that netted them veteran Dan Haren, limited the Minnesota Twins to just two runs in seven innings while leading the A’s to an emphatic 11-2 win last Thursday.

Owners of the American League’s best record, the A’s have scored a league-leading 134 runs and have gotten an added boost of power with the addition of veteran slugger Frank Thomas.
"I saw this team earlier in the year when they swept (the Blue Jays) and I saw how talented they were," Thomas said. "I saw the good left-handed bats, the great defense and great young pitching. So when all this went down in Toronto, this was the first place I was trying to go to because I still had so many friends on this team."

Analysis: While I really like the way the Oakland A’s are playing this season and think they may be legitimate contenders all season long, I like the Angels to bounce back from their colossal defeat last night with Joe Saunders out-pitching Greg Smith in this contest. Take the Angels to win a close one.
