MLB Baseball Wagering Odds – Baltimore Orioles at Chicago White Sox

While the Chicago White Sox, (12-9, 12-9 O/U) managed to avoid a three-game sweep in the BetUS Sportsbook at the hands of the New York Yankees on Thursday night, winning 7-6 over the ‘Evil Empire’ by bouncing back from a three-run deficit as Joe Crede singled in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth, the White Sox will take on one of the biggest surprise teams in the early going of 2008 when they face the Baltimore Orioles, (13-9, 7-15 O/U) tonight.
The White Sox will send veteran left-hander Mark Buehrle (1-2, 5.96) to the mound looking to snap a personal two-game skid as he allowed five runs on 12 hits in seven innings as the White Sox lost to the Tampa Bay Rays 5-0 on Saturday night.
The Orioles will counter with their own left-handed starter in youngster Brian Burres (2-1, 3.63 ERA) who is coming off a solid victory in his last outing, allowing five hits and no runs in 5 2/3 innings as Baltimore beat the Yankees 6-0 on Saturday night.
Buehrle sports a 4-2 career record against the Orioles with a 2.27 ERA in nine starts and two relief appearances while Burres has made just one career start against the White Sox, getting rocked for seven runs on six hits in just 1 1/3 innings.

Analysis: While the White Sox are playing at home and have the more experienced starting pitcher on the mound in Mark Buehrle, I like the Orioles to continue their winning ways while getting another solid performance from Burres.
