MLB Online Baseball Betting - Texas Rangers vs. Detroit Tigers

For Verlander this is much more then just another game. In his previous four starts this season Verlander has gone 0 and 3 with an ERA of 7.03. He has done well against the Rangers in the past. Then again, Verlander did well against everybody last year garnering 18 victories. He’s only in his fourth year, but already Verlander either has hit the wall or will bounce back. I’m not sure how many more chances he has this year to prove that he can bounce back.
This game won’t be easy for the Tigers. The Rangers send out Vicente Padilla. Padilla is short on looks, you won’t find this guy gracing the cover of Vanity Fair, but he sure can pitch. So far this season, Padilla has recorded a 2 and 1 record with an ERA of 3.12. He’s also only allowed 11 hits in 26 innings of work. Padilla is very good against the Tigers in Detroit going 3 and 0 with a 1.35 ERA.

This game comes down to a single question - - will Justin Verlander bounce back from his horrible start to the season? There’s no way to answer that question. Verlander had his worst outing of this already disappointing year against the Cleveland Indians last Thursday night.
For some reason, the guy just can’t pitch this season. With Verlander looking so bad and Padilla looking so good so far this year, what’s the best wager in tonight’s Rangers versus Tigers game?
Betting the Rangers to win straight-up at odds of + 145, of course! As good as the Tigers are, Padilla should put in a solid 6 to 7 innings. By that time, the Rangers may have a four or five run lead on the Tigers because of Verlanders’ issues.
