MLB Betting – Orioles Look To Bounce Back From Loss In Seattle

The Baltimore Orioles, (11-9, 6-14 O/U) have been one of the most pleasant surprises in all of baseball this season, both for fans and MLB bettors who like to wager on the Orioles in the BetUS Sportsbook.
The Orioles extracted a bit of revenge on the Seattle Mariners, (11-10, 8-11-2 O/U) on Wednesday night, beating their AL counterparts 3-2 on a tie-breaking home run by Nick Markakis one night after they fell to the Mariners 4-2.
"A little bit of a relief, but the biggest part is it helped us win the ballgame," Markakis told the Orioles' official Web site.
The win was Baltimore’s fifth in seven games in the BetUS Sportsbook against the Mariners this season. Tonight, they will send left-hander Adam Loewen (0-1, 6.32), to the mound looking for a similar performance to the one he delivered in his last outing, though it turned out to be a 3-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox last Wednesday. Loewen limited the ChiSox to three runs on six hits while walking five in the 3-1 defeat.
"Pretty much the whole philosophy ... is to get as many pitches as I can down in the strike zone," Loewen said. "That's the only thing we're trying to accomplish right now: Simplify everything."
Seattle will counter with veteran right-hander Jarrod Washburn (1-3, 4.13 ERA), who is looking for a win in the worst way after consecutive losses, including a 4-1 defeat to the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday in which he allowed four runs on 10 hits in six innings.
