MLB Baseball Betting - Kansas City Royals vs. Los Angeles Angels

What the heck was that last night? If you are into online sports betting you will be as frustrated as I am at how well the Royals have been playing and how terrible the Angels have been playing. How can the Angels continue to lose to the Kansas City Royals? They’ve lost six straight games to the Royals. Yes, the Royals have improved, but this is ridiculous. Luckily for the Angels, John Garland takes the mound tonight. Garland is money versus the K.C. Royals. He is 10 and 1 with a 2.52 ERA against them. Of course, he pitched most of those terrific games against the Royals when he was with the Chicago White Sox, but it may not matter. Even though he’s been great against the Royals in the past, Garland has been so-so this season. His record is 1 and 2 with a 5.50 ERA. He’s given up 26 hits in only three games.
The Royals counter with pitcher Brett Tomko. Tomko has been stellar in three games this year. His record is 1 and 1 but his ERA is 2.09. He’s also only given up 13 hits and 3 runs in those three games. Tomko is facing one of the best batting line-ups in major league baseball tonight. It will be interesting to see if he can continue to pitch well.

Where’s the bet in this game? Well, I can’t very well bet the Angels at – 160 when they have lost six straight to the Kansas City Royals. I tried going over in last night’s game, at 9 runs, and look where that got me?
John Garland is a decent wager at – 1 ½ at + 125, but in reality Garland will need to be on his A game in order to shut-down this K.C. squad the way he has shut-down other K.C. squads in the past. I’m not sure if Garland can do that. He’s been pretty awful in his first three starts of the season.
That leads to only one suitable wager - - the Kansas City Royals to win straight-up at the BetUS money-line of + 140.
Even though it’s hard to imagine the K.C. Royals beating the Angels for the seventh time in a row, it was equally hard to imagine the K.C. Royals beating the Angels for the sixth time in a row.
Tonight the Royals have their best pitcher on the mound. They could easily win this game which means the BetUS money-line of + 140 is the wager that makes the most sense.
