The Arizona Diamondbacks could do the New York Mets a favor on Sunday afternoon when they send Brandon Webb to the mound. The Mets are only a game and a half out of first place in the N.L. East Division. With Webb pitching, the Phillies might find the going tough in this Saturday game. Webb has been terrific this season. His record is 13 and 4. His ERA is 3.27. This will come down to which pitcher breaks first and the odds, of course. I do believe that Brandon Webb, even though the D’Backs are on the road, will be the favorite in this game.

From my perspective, taking Cole Hamels at below even money, even though I will probably be receiving a run and a half, is a bad online wagering proposition.

I would much rather prefer to wait until Sunday morning to find out who the underdog is in this game and then put a few bucks on that team.

The underdog should be the Arizona Diamondbacks. If they aren’t, I won’t let it bother me. Whichever team is getting above even money on the baseball betting money-line is going to be the team that I put a few bucks on.
