The Colorado Rockies enter the second half of the MLB wagering season in the same place they were last year - - fourth place. Of course, the difference is that this season they are 8 ½ games behind the first place team in the N.L. West. That might not mean anything because the N.L. West is absolutely the worst division in baseball. For MLB betting fans the Rockies, like every team in the N.L. West, have been an iffy online betting proposition the entire season. They send pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez to the mound. Jimenez has a decent ERA, for a pitcher on the Rockies, at 4.22 but his record of 4 and 9 isn’t anywhere close to providing baseball betting fans profits.

The Pittsburgh Pirates counter Jimenez with pitcher Paul Maholm. Maholm is doing very well for the young and inexperienced Pirates. Maholm has a record of 6 and 5 and an ERA of 3.93.
