MLB Baseball Betting Odds - Seattle vs. Cleveland

This online betting matchup will be interesting as the Seattle Mariners send Miguel Batista to the mound to take on Paul Byrd and the Cleveland Indians. Batista isn’t a bad pitcher, but against the Indians he is. From an MLB betting point-of-view, Batista is a decided play against on Thursday night. Batista is 0 and 3 with a 9.42 ERA against the Indians. I am sure he was happy to see this game on the schedule.

He’s a solid pitcher who could have a great outing on Thursday night as the Seattle Mariners really haven’t been all that good in the run support department lately.

But that’s not the only online bet that makes sense in this game. Paul Byrd is a solid guy on the mound. Even though he isn’t as dominating as some might expect, he puts in a good 5 ½ to 6 ½ innings every time he pitches. That’s about all you can ask for in a pitcher.
I’m not thrilled about giving up the run and a half for a paltry + 120, but the Indians are just player better and are the better team in this game.
