MLB Baseball Betting - Milwaukee Brewers vs. Cincinnati Reds

The Milwaukee Brewers send their ace Ben Sheets to the mound to take on Bronson Arroyo and the Cincinnati Reds in a key game in the N.L. Central. This gives online baseball betting fans an easy wager on this game. Even though there are still a lot of games to be played the N.L. Central is easily one of the toughest divisions in baseball with the Brewers, Cubs, Reds and Cardinals all vying to win the division. Without a doubt the Reds will be in an uphill battle on Friday night against Sheets who has been terrific in all three of his games this season. Sheets has an ERA of 1.17, has struck out 20 batters, and has only given up 12 hits in three games.
Bronson Arroyo hasn’t been as sharp for the Cincinnati Reds. In the three games Arroyo has pitched in this season he has given up a total of 19 hits, 12 runs and 5 home-runs. His ERA on the season is 5.17.

Getting 1 ½ runs on Arroyo at – 135 isn’t a terrible wager, but the risk isn’t worth the reward.
This game could go over, should Arroyo have a terrible start, or under should Arroyo settle down early and get some outs.
That leaves us with only one real wager - - giving up the 1 ½ runs on Ben Sheets and taking the + 115.
Yes, Milwaukee is on the road, but Ben Sheets is a true ace pitcher. He has been terrific this season so far. There really isn’t a reason not to back him.
