MLB Baseball Betting – L.A Angels vs. Detroit Tigers

The Angels, who won 2 out of 3 against the Boston Red Sox, travel to Detroit to take on a Tigers’ team that is surging. Both of these teams have been absolute knock-outs as far as online baseball betting is concerned. The Tigers have won three straight games while the Angels beat-up the defending World Champions. Granted, the BoSox were without a couple of their starting pitchers during that three game series, but, hey, the Angels went into Boston and took two out of three. That says something about their ability to win on the road, and capitalize on juicy betting odds - - from an online sportsbook gambling point-of-view.
The Angels send out Ervin Santana for this game. Santana has been awfully good this year going 3 and 0 in four games with 22 strike-outs and a 2.67 ERA. As far as MLB betting is concerned, the man is a solid wager in almost every game he pitches.
Notice I used the term almost. That’s because in the Tigers Santana faces a very difficult task. First, it has nothing to do with the pitcher Detroit sends to the mound on Friday night. I respect Nate Robinson, but he hasn’t been all that great this year. Unlike Santana, Robinson has struggled in the four games in which he has pitched. He’s 0 and 2 in those games with an ERA of 7.68. He’s also given up 29 hits and 18 runs in those four games.

There is only one real sportsbetting wager that makes sense in this game. It’s impossible to put up an extra hun just to get the run and a half on Ervin Santana. First, Santana should be favored. It’s also impossible to really distinguish who has the best chance of winning this game.
Nope. The best wager is, once again when the Tigers are involved, the BetUS over/under of 10 runs. Guess which side of those 10 runs I’m on? The over of course!
We’re talking about the Angels and Tigers here. It doesn’t matter if it were Sandy Koufax versus Cy Young tomorrow. This thing should go over.
Out of the all of the betting lines above, to me the over makes the most sense.
