MLB Baseball Betting – Rangers Against Visiting Angels

After beating the Texas Rangers, (5-8, 4-8-1 O/U), 7-4 in Monday’s series opener, (as correctly predicted in the online betting section of BetUS yesterday), the Los Angeles Angels, (8-6, 8-4-2 O/U) enter today’s matchup looking to pull off their first sweep of the Rangers in Texas since 2005
Angels starter Dustin Moseley (1-1, 7.36) will take the mound looking for his second consecutive victory after limiting the Cleveland Indians to four runs on nine hits in six innings of last Wednesday's 9-5 win over the Indians.
Moseley however, was rocked in his first start of the year by the Rangers on April 4, allowing five runs on six hits in five innings as the Angels fell 11-6.
The Rangers will send veteran starter Kevin Millwood to the mound looking to halt the team’s four-game losing streak.
Millwood has been solid in the early going this season, allowing just three earned runs in 21 innings over three starts. The big right-hander picked up his first win of the year Thursday, limiting the Baltimore Orioles to just one run on three hits in seven innings as the Rangers won 3-1.
"We need him to lead this pitching staff, and he's doing that," Texas manager Ron Washington said.

Analysis: After correctly calling yesterday’s matchup, I am back with another solid pick for today. Despite the fact that the Angels are far and away the better team, I like the Rangers to snap their losing streak with Millwood putting on a fine performance.
