MLB Baseball Betting Odds – Devil Rays meet Mariners

The Seattle Mariners, (3-5) ended their four-game losing streak against the Tampa Bay Rays, (3-4) on Tuesday, winning 6-5 while getting three RBIs from Richie Sexson and three hits each from Ichiro Suzuki and Jose Lopez. Seattle has been the sports betting communities favorite up-and-comer this year and against a Sportsbook dog like Tampa Bay, the Mariners seem excited and ready for a bit of a roll.

"We needed that win in the worst way," Seattle manager John McLaren said. "We got sloppy at times, we left some runners on base, but bottom line is we got us a win we needed in the worst way."

Now, the Tampa Bay Rays enter tonight’s contest looking to halt a three-game skid of their own.

The Rays will send young hurler Andy Sonnanstine, (1-0, 6.00 ERA) to the mound looking for another solid performance from the right-hander who limited the New York Yankees to six hits in six innings though he did allow four runs in one bad inning as the Rays won 13-4.

Sonnanstine held the Mariners to one run on six hits in seven innings in his only career appearance against Seattle, a 9-2 win at Safeco Field last Sept. 16.

Mariners veteran starter Jarrod Washburn (0-1, 5.40) looks to bounce back from a mediocre first start of the season as he allowed three runs and six hits in five innings of a 7-4 loss at Baltimore on Friday.
