MLB Baseball Betting - Dodgers vs. Marlins

The Los Angeles Dodgers have won four online betting games in a row and six out of their last eight. But I’m not ready to call these guys BetUS online sportsbook betting studs just yet. As far as MLB betting is concerned, the Dodgers have a problem tonight. First, their bull-pen always lets the opposing team back into it. They beat the Marlins last night 7 to 6 after getting a five run lead early on in the game. Second, they start Chad Billingsley tonight. I have no idea what’s wrong with Billingsley. He might just be a very bad pitcher, or he might just be in a rough spot right now. In any case, so far this season this guy is anathema to what online betting gamblers are trying to do - - make money.
The Florida Marlins counter with Scott Olsen. The guy’s an ace. No doubt about it. He is 3 and 0 on the season with an ERA of 2.06. That’s about as good as it gets. I love the fact that the Marlins respond when Olsen is on the mound. They’ve scored ten, four and six runs in his three wins this season.

Maybe I’m way off on this one, but the sportsbook wagering odd of Scott Olsen at – 1 ½ + 190 looks awfully nice, doesn’t it? The Dodgers could win their fifth game in a row, but they will find it much more difficult to get a five run lead against Olsen then they did against Kevin Gregg last night. Gregg is also a very good pitcher, but Olsen is a flat-out stud on the level of a Ben Sheets in Milwaukee.
Because of that I really don’t see any issue with taking Scott Olsen at the BetUS sporstbook online odds of – 1 ½ + 190. Oh, did I mention that Chad Billingsley is pitching terribly this year? I just want to make sure I got that in!

I’ll put a few dollars on Olsen and hope that Billingsley has another terrible outing.
To me this is the most logical outcome in this game.
