MLB Baseball Betting – Atlanta Braves At Philadelphia Phillies

After correctly calling Wednesday night’s sports betting matchup between the Atlanta Braves, (19-19, 23-15 RL) and Philadelphia Phillies, (22-18, 16-24 RL) in the BetUS Locker Room, I am back with one more winning wager in this series finale between these two long-time NL East online betting rivals.
Despite having the worst road record in all of baseball at the moment, (6-15) the Braves have won two of their last three road contests and will be looking for another tonight when they face Phillies all-star starter Cole Hamels (4-3, 3.36), who has won each of his last two starts.
Hamels was solid, not overpowering in his last start, allowing four earned runs on six hits in seven innings in Friday’s 7-4 victory over the San Francisco Giants.
The Phillies, who got home runs from Chase Utley and Ryan Howard on Wednesday despite losing 8-6, will try to pound Braves starter Chuck James (2-2, 7.58 ERA) who was recalled from Triple-A Richmond nearly a month ago to replace the injured Mike Hampton.
"To be successful here, I have to hit my spots and put the ball on the corners," said James who is 2-0 with a 3.58 ERA in six career starts against Philadelphia.
