Dodgers starting pitcher Brad Penny is 3-2 in five starts covering 30.1 innings with 17 strikeouts, eight walks and a 2.67 ERA.
Analysis: The Dodgers need Penny to throw well while the young team continues its search for its identity under new manager Joe Torre. While Colorado’s Redman has been solid in the early going so far, it is Penny who can often be downright dominant. Take the Dodgers behind Brad Penny, to win this matchup handily.
