NFL Betting - BetUS Super Bowl Props for Fun and Profit

Why is the Super Bowl the best wagering event in the year? It’s because you won’t find another day where so many BetUS wagers are offered that can turn a profit for NFL bettors.

I all ready wrote about how BetUS is offering alternative spreads for the Superbowl. This article is all about the many Super Bowl Props that BetUS is offering to NFL bettors this Sunday.

Props, Becky! Props! The name implies that real bettors won’t be able to make money on any of these. Why? Well, because the betting against the spread line is traditional wagering while prop betting is just fun, right? Wrong! Of course wagering on the props that BetUS offers for the Super Bowl XLII is fun. But there is also a chance to make money on a lot of these. This is a going to be a great Super Bowl! The drama is intense in this one! Why not throw some money on some of these props?

Here is a list of what I think are the best BetUS prop wagers offered this Super Bowl 42 Sunday!

Imaginary Lines = These imaginary lines are all about what might have been! If the Patriots had to take on the ’85 Bears who would win against the spread? What about the ‘ 72 Dolphins or the ‘ 66 Packers? Bettors can test their historical knowledge with these wagers. Of course you can only bet $1, but, hey, that’s part of the fun! Here a few good ones:

New England Patriots pk vs ‘ 85 Chicago Bears pk = I like the Bears in this one because they scored 46 points. I just don’t think that the Patriots will approach that number in this game. Sure, they will put up a lot of points, but 46 against a decent Giants’ team is asking too much. This is an easy one in my eyes!

New England Patriots + 3 vs. ‘ 72 Miami Dolphins – 3 = Another prop that I love only this time I’m with the Patriots! Are you kidding me, Becky? The ‘ 72 Dolphins racked up 14 points in their game versus the Washington Redskins in the 1973 Super Bowl. Forget about it! The Patriots score over 14 in the first quarter this Sunday!

New England Patriots – 4 vs. ’78 Pittsburgh Steelers + 4 = The Steelers racked up 35 points in their win versus the Dallas Cowboys in the ’79 Super Bowl. I’m all over the Steel-Town in this one. If you think that the game this Sunday is going to be close, then you should be all over the Steel Town as well.

New England Patriots – 10 vs. ‘ 77 Dallas Cowboys + 10 = The Boys got 27 in their Super Bowl. So, you’re giving up 37 if you like the Pats in this game. Forget it, Becky! The Boys win this one easy! 37 points? I don’t think so!

Other Props = You can make more money on these props but, of course, they’re harder to predict

First Score/TD or Other = The BetUS line is + 160 in the other category. I kind of like this prop. Why? Because I do think that the chances of one of these teams getting a field goal before either one gets a TD is pretty good.

Over/Under Passing Yards = The BetUS line for Tom Brady is 294. The BetUS line for Eli Manning is 226 ½. I like the Overs, Becky!

Total Complete Passes = For Eli it’s 21. Form Tom it’s 25 ½. Going with the Overs again!

Rushing Yards = Great match-up wagering with Ahmad Bradshaw for the Giants at – 25.5 vs. Kevin Faulk for the Patriots at + 25.5. I’m torn between these two fellas. If I have to pick, I’m going with Bradshaw. What about Brandon Jacobs for the G-Men at + 23.5 versus Laurence Maroney for the Pats at – 23.5? Again, I’m torn. Maroney could have a huge day, but so could Bradshaw!

Receiving Yards = Okay, this is an easy one again for me. Plaxico is listed at over 78.5. Moss is listed at over 93.5. I love the Overs, Becky! What about Wes Welker? He’s listed at 75.5. Welker might be the best prop bet of the day o! Yes, I’m going Over!

I’ve just listed a few of the prop wagers that BetUS is offering! There are many, many more! So, what are you waiting for?
