Bet on Super Bowl XLII Props – Eli Manning Completion Props

, but are based on individual stats or other aspects of games. Some could be won or lost very early in the game while others might not be decided until the final minutes of the game. They are the bets that will keep you entertained, even through a boring game if, God forbid, that is what it comes down to. We don’t expect that, of course!

Let’s discuss a few quick props that will, by definition, keep you watching the stats sheet for at the very least almost all of the game. Just go to the BetUS sportsbook and scroll down past the Super Bowl lines and then past the alternative Super Bowl odds. Below, you’ll see all kinds of possible Super Bowl bets. In the QB Props section, you’ll find these quarterback prop wagers that you can bet on. We’ll go by the numbers on the left of the bets, called Rotation Numbers, to make it easier to follow.

Super Bowl Betting: 6:20 p.m. EST in Glendale, Arizona

Number 540/541: For this prop, you must choose whether or not Eli Manning will complete more or fewer than 21.5 passes in the entire game. Looking back at this past season, Eli has, on average, completed just 19 passes per contest. You are looking at him needing to complete three more passes than usual, or more than 15% higher than usual against the Patriots defense in the Super Bowl. Fat chance. Take the under and laugh. If anything, the Giants offense will be running more than passing, as Brandon Jacobs showed coach Coughlin in Week 17 that he can pick up the tough, clock-eating yards with a 4.5 yards per carry average against New England.

Number 546/547: This prop is one you should leave alone, as the book has left you with nothing but chance. Of course, flipping a coin is sometimes fun too, if your bankroll can afford it. The over/under on Eli’s first half completions is 11.5, exactly what his average rate is. Your guess is as good as anyone’s here, without research.

Number 552/553: This Super Bowl XLII prop is the best of the three discussed here. It has the over/under for Eli’s second half completions at eleven. On average, Manning slows down in the second, as the running game picks up, and he completes just nine passes. To lose this bet, he would have to increase his receptions by three, or 33%. That is a lot. Super Bowl prop betting is all about playing the percentages and knowing when to. It will be a very rare occasion in any sports betting situation to have a one-third higher than average advantage going in. Take the under without question.

You’ve got the whole game covered now, unless Eli comes out firing like crazy in the second half. Chances are slim of that. More likely, you can enjoy your soft drinks and popcorn right up until the final whistle blows.
