NFL Wagering: Oakland Raiders (+9.5) at San Diego Chargers (-9.5)

The Oakland Raiders, (2-2 SU, 2-2 ATS, 4-0 O/U) enter this matchup coming off a bye last week which, ironically, vaulted them into first place and should be thoroughly rested and well-motivated in this meeting of division rivals. The Raiders are ranked ninth in offense and 26th in overall defense.
The San Diego Chargers, (2-3 SU, 2-3 ATS, 4-1 O/U) are just 2-3 on the season, but finally got back to resembling the team that went to the AFC quarterfinals round last season by routing the Denver Broncos 41-3 last week – in Mile High Stadium no less. The Chargers are ranked 18th in overall offense and 22nd in defense.

Analysis: The Chargers should be feeling good after getting back to the basics last week and pounding the Broncos senseless. While I think the Raiders will put up a much better fight, I’m not sure they will cover the spread here. Take the home Chargers to make it two in a row this week with another solid division win.
