NCAAF Betting - Boston College vs. Florida State
By Robby Maddux
The Boston College Eagles (-7) are ranked second in both the AP poll and BCS standings for the second consecutive week, as they hope to continue to impress the nation and NCAA football betting community on Saturday when they host the Florida State Seminoles (+7).
In last year's meeting between the two, quarterback and Heisman hopeful Matt Ryan led the Eagles to a 24-19 win over the Seminoles at Tallahassee as the touchdown favorites. His numbers were decent, going 16-for-26 for 262 yards and one interception.
The Eagles enter Saturday's game owners of a sparkling 8-0 SU (straight up) record and they are 5-2 ATS (against the spread).
As a unit, the Eagles are stout on both sides of the ball. Offensively, they are scoring 32 points per game and collecting 438.1 yards. Defensively, they're allowing 16.8 points per game while surrendering 316.3 yards.
In BC's last game, Ryan passed for 285 yards against Virginia Tech, his third straight game throwing for at least that much, in a money-making 14-10 road win as the slight underdogs. Ryan has 19 touchdowns and only eight interceptions this year to go with a 61.0 completion percentage and a 304 yards per game average.

The Seminoles enter this game with a SU mark of 5-3 and they are 3-5 ATS, having failed to cover the number in two of their three road games this season.
Florida State avoided a third consecutive SU loss with a dominant 25-6 home victory over Duke last Saturday as the 17½-point favorites. Florida State gained a season-high 534 yards while limiting the Blue Devils to 49 yards in the first half and 222 overall.
Quarterback Drew Weatherford completed 35-of-47 passes for 339 yards and a touchdown in the money-making win. The completions and yardage were both season highs for the senior, who has thrown for 981 yards, five touchdowns and one interception in six games this year.
