NCAA Basketball Betting Action – UConn at Seton Hall

The Connecticut Huskies, (9-2 SU, 1-6 ATS, 4-3 O/U) may not be the championship-caliber team that head coach Jim Calhoun is used to producing almost annually at the school he put on the collegiate basketball map, but the Huskies certainly aren’t bottom-feeders either.
The young Seton Hall Pirates, (9-3 SU, 3-5-1 ATS, 5-4 O/U) have an impressive straight up (SU) record, but have already struggled against quality opponents this season.
The Pirates are coming off a 77-54 victory over Delaware State on Monday but have shown their maddening inconsistency by alternating wins and losses over the course of their last six games. Connecticut has won four in a row including an 85-82 victory at Central Florida on Dec. 28, but has also padded their record by beating up some high school-quality teams.
Seton Hall improved to 9-3 on the young season following an easy 77-54 victory over Delaware State on Monday.
All five of Connecticut’s starters are averaging in double-digits in scoring and at least 3.2 rebounds per game with sophomore Jerome Dyson averaging a team-high 14.9 points per game. 7-foot-3 sophomore center Hasheem Thabeet is also averaging 3.5 blocks per game.
The Pirates are averaging 84.6 points per game on 43.7 percent shooting while allowing 79.2 pints per game on 46.0 percent field goal shooting.
UConn averages 82.2 points per game on 46.9 percent shooting while allowing an average of 66.5 points per game on 36.2 percent shooting.
Seton Hall is led by senior forward Brian Laing who averages 20.5 points and 7.4 boards per game.
