NCAA Basketball Betting Action – Louisville at UConn

While neither, the Louisville Cardinals, (15-5 SU, 8-10 ATS, 6-12 O/U) or Connecticut Huskies, (14-5 SU, 609 ATS, 9-6 O/U) are ranked among the nation’s top 25 teams, both schools could literally, shake the up the NCAA Championship tournament this coming March with their unpredictable styles of play and athletic players who have yet to put it all together this season.
Still, both schools have recorded impressive victories this season over nationally ranked teams despite their respective shortcomings as they head into tonight’s matchup.
The Cardinals have won two straight games and eight of their last 10, including a solid 67-57 home victory over St. John’s on Saturday.
The Huskies have won seven of its last 10 games including three highly impressive victories over, Marquette, Cincinnati and Indiana, whom UConn beat on the road on Saturday 68-63.
The Huskies are averaging 80.3 points per game on 46.9 percent shooting while allowing 69.6 points per game on 37.8 percent shooting.
The Cardinals are averaging 71.8 points per game on 44.6 percent shooting while allowing 60.2 points per game on 37.6 percent shooting.
Sophomore guard Jerry Smith and junior forward Terrence Williams lead the Cardinals in scoring, averaging 11.6 points per game apiece.
Sophomore guard Jerome Dyson leads the Huskies in scoring, averaging 14.8 points per game.
