The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, (6-23 SU, 14-11 ATS, 14-11 O/U), may have an absolutely dismal straight up record this season, with just six wins, but the Bulldogs have picked up two of those six wins in their last two contests, including an 87-83 win over tonight’s foe, the San Jose State Spartans, (12-18 SU, 10-15 ATS, 15-10 O/U), on Saturday.

Tonight’s contest is the conference’s annual play-in game on the campus of New Mexico State, giving the winner a pass to move onto to the next round of the WAC Tournament while ending the season of the loser.

Louisiana Tech and San Jose State split two games this season with the home team winning both times. Prior to Saturday's final, the Spartans beat the Bulldogs 71-61 in The Events Center in San Jose, Calif., back on Feb. 16.

The Bulldogs are just three and seven in their last ten games while the Spartans are 2-8 in their last ten games, losing their last five games including their 87-73 loss to the Bulldogs on Saturday.

The Bulldogs are 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings.

Analysis: Simply put, this game has the classic look of a ‘last possession’ type of contest. Though I like the Spartans to win this game and avenge Saturday’s loss, I say the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs get the cover. I also like the ‘Over’ as theses teams have been over the 130-point Over/Under mark for tonight’s contest in both of their meetings this season.
