Bet on NCAAB - Wisconsin (predict: + 4) vs. Texas (predict: - 4)

Terrific Saturday game between the Longhorns and the Badgers. Right now, I believe the line will be set between 3 to 4 points. I’m hoping to get more on Wisconsin, but the NCAAB betting odds-makers will see that the Longhorns lone loss was to a very good Big-10 team, Michigan State, and that have to play another very good Big-10 team, Wisconsin, on Saturday.

First, some trends:

The Texas Longhorns are 12 and 4 against the spread in their last 16 games overall.

The Texas Longhorns are 7 and 3 against the spread in their last 10 games overall.

According to the two trends above, the Longhorns definitely have an advantage. I’m not biting, though, because Wisconsin plays that rough and tumble game that could frustrate the Longhorns.

Wisconsin has only allowed two teams to score more than 80 points on them all year. The first, the Duke Blue Devils, is one of the better teams in the nation. The second, Marquette, got Wisconsin into what amounted to a shoot-out for the Badgers.

Can Texas do the same? Of course, they can but will they is a different story.

Historically, Texas ends up playing the type of game that Wisconsin wants to play. Be wary of betting against Big-10 teams like Wisconsin who has no problem working the ball around to find the open shot.

The Badgers do an excellent job on the defensive end as well. They allow, on average, only 53 points a game. That’s pretty good. Since the Longhorns score, on average 81 points a game, I’m expecting them to get pretty frustrated in the second half in this one.

The Badgers should have no problems being patient against the Longhorns, working for their shot, and keeping the Longhorns form going on a huge run at any point during this game.

Because of that I really like the Badgers to beat whatever spread this ends up being.

The predicted BetUS NCAAB betting line is Wisconsin Badgers + 4 against the spread on the road versus the Texas Longhorns.

I like Wisconsin to beat a 4 points spread all the way down to 2.5. Anything less than 2.5 and start thinking of wagering on the Longhorns.
