College Basketball Betting Conference USA – Tulane vs. Marshall

The Tulane Green Wave, (16-14 SU, 10-15 ATS, 9-16 O/U), are a dismal 2-8 in their last ten contests with an eight-game losing streak separating their two wins, one of which came in their last outing, a 77-75 win over a mediocre East Carolina squad on Saturday.
The Marshall Thundering Herd, (16-13 SU, 10-11-1 ATS, 10-11-1 O/U), enter tonight’s matchup coming off a 63-58 loss to conference rival Southern Mississippi on Saturday, but have won five of their last ten games.
Tulane is giving up more points per game than they are scoring offensively, averaging 66.3 points per game on 44.6 percent shooting while allowing 67.6 points per game on 41.2 percent shooting.
The Thundering Herd have posted almost identical offensive and defensive scoring statistics while averaging 67.6 points per game on 42.1 percent shooting while allowing 67.5 points per game on 45.2 percent shooting.
The Green Wave have also failed to cover the spread very often in the BetUS.com Sportsbook, going just 1-9 against the spread in their last ten games, including a nine-game ATS losing streak coming into this contest.
The Thundering Herd have also struggled to cover the spread recently, going just 4-6 against the spread while alternating wins and losses in each of their last eight games.
Marshall has beaten the Green Wave twice this season, winning 68-54 at home on Feb. 16 and 70-68 at Marshall on March 5.

Analysis: I know it’s hard to beat the same team three times in one season, but I say the Marshall Thundering Herd pull off the feat with another victory over Tulane tonight.
