Champions League Odds Chelsea vs Fenerbahce

BetUS sportsbook believes Turkish side Fenerbahce has been the surprise package of the Champions League quarterfinal round. And with a victory in the first leg of their quarterfinal round against Chelsea – defeated Chelsea 2-1 before a partisan crowd they head to Stanford Bridge as the +900 underdogs for the second leg of their matchup. Can first time quarterfinalists Fenerbahce do the unthinkable and beat the Premiership club on English soil or will it be a whitewash affair for the -400 favorites Chelsea? Put your online sports bet on the Champions league at BetUS.

Future Odds:

Fenerbahce to Qualify for Semifinals +185

Chelsea to Qualify for Semifinals -250

To qualify for the semifinal Fenerbahce is disadvantaged at +185 (BetUS Future Odds) and with the second leg of their matchup an away game, the odds are decidedly against them replicating their inspiring performance against the Premiership side at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium. Before the first leg of their matchup, Chelsea remained the only unbeaten side in the Champions League this season. In eight Champions League matches, Chelsea has won four and drawn four. Their first loss came in the first leg of this quarterfinal. Indeed, the momentous victory will give the Turkish side confidence coming into the second leg, but to deliver a performance on such an intimidating stage as Stanford Bridge Stadium Fenerbahce are a long shot bet.

Soccer Odds:

Team: Chelsea FC

Spread: -1½ -130

Moneyline: -400

Total Points: Over 2½ -130

Draw: +450

Analysis: Chelsea took the early lead in the first leg, but a lapse in concentration (and perhaps a little bit of over confidence) saw them fall behind by two swift goals from Kazim and Deivid. This oversight will not be allowed to happen on home turf and expect the strongest line-up to start this match. Trailing by a goal, Chelsea will need to win and score a several goals to emerge out of this quarterfinal matchup on aggregates.

Team: Fenerbahce

Spread: +1½ +110

Moneyline: +900

Total Points: Under 2½ +110

Draw: +450

Analysis: Fenerbahce has had a Cinderella run this season in the Champions League, but as first-time quarterfinalists it comes as no surprise they are so heavily disadvantaged on the money line coming into the second leg. Coach Ziko and his squad arrive with the advantage in England. Should they win, their +900 odds on the money line will offer up a huge payout. Just the price tag alone is worth the consideration.

Betting Verdict: Chelsea underestimated Fenerbahce in the first leg. They won’t make that mistake again, but with the loss they must win this second leg and dig themselves out of the hole by scoring several goals. Expect this to be a high scoring match, particularly as Fenerbahce are slightly vulnerable on the defence.
