Boxing Odds - Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Manny Pacquiao

This is going to be a doozy! Talk about two guys who have had it out for each other since their first fight! Juan Manuel has probably been dreaming about a rematch every night since fighting Pacquiao to a draw those few years ago.

Pacquiao, of course, has gone on to beat the Baby-Faced Assassin, Marco Antonio Barrerra, again and Erik “Terrible” Morales three-times. That makes Manny the top fighter in the world or it at least puts him at number two behind Floyd Mayweather Jr.

But this is a rematch and Juan Manuel Marquez fought very well in their first fight. Once he appeared to figure out what to do with Manny’s straight left, he came on in the later rounds and got a draw out of it. This after Manny put Juan Manuel on the canvas three times.

The interest for this fight is high, the tension on fight night will be high, and BetUS will have the boxing odds, baby!

Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Manny Pacquiao

Manny Pacquiao by KO, TKO, or Disqualification - - BetUS odds + 170 - - This is a fantastic wager. In their last fight Pacquiao spent most of his time using his straight-left. Once Juan Manuel figured it out the fight became much closer then anticipated. Pacquiao has developed into an all-round fighter by stretching himself against some of the best in the business. Juan Manuel is good, but Pacquiao is a beast. Getting Pac-Man at odds of + 170 is a gift. I can easily see Pac taking Juan Manuel out before the twelfth round.

Manny Pacquiao by Decision or Technical Decision - - BetUS odds + 135 - - This is also a good wager as Pacquiao should have no trouble winning a decision. If, of course, that’s what he wants to do. Pac has that killer instinct. So, if Juan Manuel is hurt at any time during the fight, I think Pac finishes him. That makes this bet somewhat iffy because Pacquiao never, ever gets tired and he never, ever quits. He won’t take rounds off and he can knock a guy out with both hands.

Juan Manuel Marquez by KO, TKO, or Diqualification - - BetUS odds + 500 - - The odds are good, but I just don’t see Juan Manuel knocking out Marquez. I doubt the ref will dream of disqualifying Pac. Pac doesn’t fight dirty anyways. Juan Manuel can hurt Pac, but I don’t think he can take Pac-Man out. Pacquiao is just too tough of a guy.

Juan Manuel Marquez by Decision or Technical Decision - - BetUS odds + 200 - - This is Juan Manuel’s best shot. He can dance around, use his jab, and try to keep Pac off of him. I don’t think it will happen, but the odds make this a pretty good saver bet if you really think Juan Manuel has a shot. Pacquiao hardly every makes a mistake, though, and as good as Juan Manuel is, he hasn’t been fighting the best fighters in the weight-class. That makes things tough for Juan Manuel. Again, he might be able to eke out a decision, but I really don’t think he’s improved enough since their last fight while Pacquiao has improved by leaps and bounds.

Draw or Technical Draw - - BetUS odds + 1600 - - The first fight ended in a draw. So I won’t say that it definitely can’t happen again…okay, maybe I will. A draw will not happen again.
