Bet On UFC - UFC Fight Night - Let’s Get It On!
UFC Fight Night 13 means UFC betting action, and it begins this evening live at 7:00pm EST on Spike TV. The Broomfield Event Center in Colorado will be the site for five great televised battles.
There's six additional bouts that may not be aired, but the BetUS UFC odds lists all eleven, starting with the main event between Joe "J-Lau" Lauzon and Kenny "KenFlo" Florian who are 155-pound packages of dynamite.
Lauzon is perfect inside the Octagon and owns a strong MMA record of 15-3. Lauzon will be looking to build his current UFC winning streak to four. Lauzon possesses very good submission skills and is extremely quick. He's not a concussive striker but has the power to knockout any opponent.
He is a very lively dog with skills that could make him bark as the puppy in this one. Lauzon is the underdog at +180.
Florian will also attempt to run his current UFC winning streak to four and improve his record inside the Octagon to an impressive 7-2 as the favorite at -220. Florian brings to the cage a respectable 9-3 MMA record. He has great jiu-jitsu talent and dangerous elbows.
Florian is a very efficient striker with solid punches, knees and elbows. His style of throwing elbows is particularly dangerous that often leads to fight-ending cuts in a matter of seconds.
The former lightweight title challenger has been fighting at the highest level for the last two years, amassing nearly three times as many UFC fights as Lauzon.
During that stretch, he has went to war with some of the UFC’s biggest names and most experienced veterans, such as former champion Sean Sherk, Diego Sanchez, Dokonjonosuke Mishima and the before mentioned Thomas.
Florian may get another crack at the UFC title should he get past Lauzon, so the bout Wednesday night carries extra significance. Florian lost a unanimous decision in his first crack at the UFC title, when he was beaten by Sherk at UFC 64 on Oct. 14, 2006.
Also on tonight's card, Karo "The Heat" Parisyan will take on Thiago "Pit bull" Alves in what will be a 170-pound war.
Parisyan is a strong 25-4 with excellent grappling and great throws. He's riding a three-fight winning streak and oddsmakers are giving him respect in this contest at -220.
Alves relies on jiu-jitsu and striking and has a sharp 18-4 MMA record. He has won his last four fights, looking for his fifth consecutive win as the underdog of +180.
Matt ''The Hammer'' Hamill will match up Tim "The Barbarian" Boetsch.
Hamill is a young and determined fighter with a 5-1 UFC record. He has good boxing and wrestling skills. Boetsch is 7-1 inside the cage who also has a solid wrestling game and a strong chin that will be tested. This will be a stellar 205-pound contest that could end with one man staring up at the lights.
As well, Kurt "Batman" Pellegrino (17-3-0) will face off against Nate Diaz (8-2-0) in a 155-pound event and James "The Sandman" Irvin (13-4-1) will attempt to put Houston "The Assassin" Alexander (8-1-0) to sleep in a 205-pound matchup.
Cage fighting will be at its best and the betting action will be stellar in UFC Fight Night 13. Great odds on each fight gives the sports betting enthusiasts an exciting way to cash in. So don't miss it!
