NCAA Basketball Betting – Two-For-One Special

Villanova at DePaul The DePaul Blue Demons, (4-7 SU, 3-6 ATS, 6-3 O/U), host the Villanova Wildcats, (10-1 SU, 4-4 ATS, 4-4 O/U) tonight as the 16th-ranked Wildcats look for their seventh straight win Thursday night when both teams open conference play
The red-hot Wildcats (10-1) finished 6-0 in December, to give themselves a boost of momentum heading into Big East play, but the team has no seniors and a slew of freshmen who have never played in a Big East contest before.
Villanova enters this contest coming off a 71-58 win over La Salle on Saturday.
The DePaul basketball program hasn’t been the same ever since the legendary Ray Meyer retired way back in 1984. The Blue Demons (4-7), are one of only two conference teams with losing records, along with Cincinnati. DePaul has won two straight, including a 70-64 road victory at Detroit on Saturday. The Blue Demons are 0-3 against ranked teams this season after splitting four such games in 2006-07. Each school went 9-7 in Big East play last season, and split two meetings.

While they may be young, the Wildcats are very good and have a legitimate superstar in Reynolds.

UCLA at Stanford
The UCLA Bruins, (12-1 SU, 6-4-2 ATS, 4-8 O/U) freshman center Kevin Love has made quite a name for himself in a short period of tie, but will certainly have his hands more than full with Stanford sophomore center Brook Lopez when the ighly-coveted post players meet for the first time Thursday night when the fifth-ranked Bruins visit the No. 20 Cardinal, (11-1 SU, 6-6 ATS, 2-9-1 O/U) in the Pac-10 opener for both teams.
Love has literally put the Bruins on his ample shoulders, leading the team with averages of of 16.4 points, 10.2 rebounds and 57.8 percent shooting during non-conference play for the Bruins.
Lopez is a 7-footer who averaged 12.6 points and 6.0 rebounds last season but didn’t play this season until Dec. 19 because of various non-injury related reasons.
Lopez is averaging 19.3 points and 7.3 boards through three games and tallied 19 points and 12 rebounds in a 55-48 win over Fresno State on Saturday.
UCLA has won five straight games by an average of 24.0 points since its only loss, 63-61 to then-No. 8 Texas on Dec. 2.

Analysis: While UCLA is clearly the better – and deeper – team coming into this matchup, winning on the road at Stanford is never as easy task. Still, I say the already battle-tested Bruins pick up the victory and cover. Take UCLA college basketball bettors.
