NCAAB Betting – St. Louis (6-3) at Boston College (5-1)
By Eric Williams
Boston College, (2-2 ATS, 3-1 O/U) sports a solid 5-1 record so far, but enters this contest coming off a 98-89 overtime loss to A-10 member Rhode Island on Saturday. The Eagles are led by junior guard Tyrese Rice, who is averaging 23.4 points and almost seven assists per game and sophomore forward Shamari Spears who averages a double-double at 14.4 ppg and 11.0 rpg.
St. Louis, (3-4 ATS, 3-4 O/U) has won two of their last three games, including a 52-48 win over Long Beach State on Saturday. The Billikens are led by a pair of junior guards in Kevin Lisch, (14.3 ppg) and Tommie Liddell, (10.2 ppg), their only two players averaging double figures in scoring.
The Billikens are struggling offensively, averaging just 51.3 points per game on 43.5 percent shooting while allowing 70.0 points per game on 54.2 percent shooting to their opponents.
Through six games, the Eagles are averaging 75.0 points per game while giving up an average of 68.2 points per game. This will be the first meeting between the schools.

Analysis: While the outcome of this game certainly isn’t in doubt, the 9.5-point spread makes this a very interesting wager. In the end, I say take BC to cover the spread because of the Billikens’ atrocious offense, which reminds me of a 1960’s ‘Four Corners’ offense that has been fast-forwarded in time. Take the Eagles to fly high and cover the spread while routing their Midwest counterparts tonight.
