NBA Wagering - Boston (- 10) vs. Seattle (+ 10)

The Boston Celtics continue their West Coast swing versus a Seattle Supersonics team coming off a big loss versus the Portland Trailblazers on Christmas Day.
The Celtics are awesome: 18-7-1 against the spread so far this year, 11-4 against the spread at home, 7-3-1 against the spread on the road.
Those numbers are an NBA bettors’ dream. I should probably just end this article right here, but I’m so in love with these guys, I have to keep writing.
First, some trends:
The Boston Celtics are 40-15-1 against the spread in their last 56 road games.
The Boston Celtics are 10 – 4 against the spread in their last 14 games versus the Seattle Supersonics.
The Seattle Supersonics are 7 and 6 against the spread in their last 13 home games.
Sometimes a great team might get caught into all of the hype surrounding them. They might take a trip to a place where bad things are bound to happen. They might get upset by a team who has no business even showing up in the first place.
That won’t happen tonight. The Celtics should have no trouble covering in tonight’s game for the simple fact that they are way, way, way better than the Seattle Supersonics.
The Supersonics best player, 19 year old Kevin Durant, has no chance against the likes of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen. Oh, did I mention that Allen will be looking to make a statement versus his friends and family in the Seattle area? Let’s not forget that is was Ray Allen who carried the Sonics for a number of years.
Now, he gets the chance to put up 20 against his former team. Boston has won their last three games by an average of about 15 points or so.
Expect the same thing to happen tonight.
