There are trade rumors surrounding some names on this Clippers roster, the most prominent of which is Sam Cassell, who reportedly wants out. If that's a big distraction, maybe this Tinseltown team needs more of 'em. The Clippers have come home after an arduous seven-game road trip and actually won three of those last five games. On top of that, the Clippers have also improved their performances at the Staples Center, winning four of its last six. Now, while that doesn't mean Mike Dunleavy's team is a playoff contender, but it has to be considered an uptick.

Washington would love to be ticking in any way, shape or form right now. The losing streak is now up to eight after a three-point loss to the Warriors. Roger Mason actually stepped up with 32 points, and this is what the Wizards have to get as they wait for Caron Butler and Gilbert Arenas to come back to action.

Antonio Daniels has also been sitting out. Unless we can be assured that he and Butler are ready to step back in and contribute, I think we'd need to get more than three points to jump on board with the Wizards, even though the last two defeats have been narrow.

With the understanding that with this statement we're swallowing hard, let's lay the points with the Clippers, the three-point favorite in the BetUS NBA basketball betting odds.
