NBA Betting Action – Milwaukee Bucks at Los Angeles Lakers

The Milwaukee Bucks, (15-20 SU, 16-19 ATS, 17-18 O/U) have moved bit closer to getting back to .500 after ripping of three consecutive wins – albeit, against three teams with losing records.
The Los Angeles Lakers, (23-11 SU, 22-12 ATS, 18-16 O/U) have been one of the biggest surprises in the league this season and are coming into this contest riding a four-game winning streak.
Los Angeles (23-11) has won of 14 its last 17 and is in the midst of their third four-game winning streak during this stretch.
Still, tonight’s matchup against the Bucks should be a test for L.A. as they haven’t won consecutive games since last March.
Not only are the Lakers winning, but they’ve been dispatching their opponents with ease lately, winning their last four by an average of 23 points per game, including their 109-80 win over the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday in which five players scored in double figures, led by Kobe Bryant’s 19.
The Bucks have beaten the Charlotte Bobcats, Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat in succession, taking down the dismal Heat 98-92 on Wednesday.
The Lakers will be seeking some measure of revenge as well, having lost to the Bucks on the road 110-103 on Nov. 21.

Analysis: While the Los Angeles Lakers are riding high – and are the better team in this matchup – I just don’t see them winning this game by the 12 points it will take to cover the spread even at home. Take the Bucks to cover the spread in a close contest.
