NBA Betting Trends – Atlanta Hawks at Phoenix Suns

The Atlanta Hawks, (19-22 SU, 21-20 ATS, 16-25 O/U) have been one of the most pleasant surprises in the league this season with their newfound ‘never-say-die’ attitude but the Hawks have struggled lately, losing five of their last six, including a 94-93 loss to the Portland Trailblazers on Sunday.
The Phoenix Suns, (32-13 SU, 21-23-1 ATS, 23-22 O/U) have won six of their last seven while also going 6-1 ATS. The league’s highest scoring team, Phoenix has recently used a boost in their defensive statistics to help them improve.
The Suns have been holding opponents to 98.9 points per game on 43.1 percent shooting from the field in their last seven contests and allowed a season-low of 77 points to the Chicago Bulls in their 88-77 win over Chicago on Sunday.
The Hawks are 5-5 ATS in their last 10 games but have covered the spread in two straight entering tonight’s contest. The Hawks blew a 19-point second-half lead in losing to the Blazers on Sunday.
